IRE1A (AT2G17520) and IRE1B (AT5G24360) are the active bZIP60 transcription factor. IRE1A is a endoribonuclease/protein kinase IRE1-like protein which is involved in organ growth regulation. It also plays a role in plant immunity and abiotic stress responses.
